Want to land that awesome job or impress your potential customers? Check out the review for Workality Plus, a great creative portfolio WordPress theme.

Northeme is not your regular WordPress theme supplier that builds heavy, multipurpose, one size fits all themes. No, theirs are quite the opposite: light, fast, purpose built with a very clear objective: help creatives showcase their work online and give them the tools to make the most out of their portfolio. Northeme’s lineup includes at the moment two free themes and four premium ones. Today I’ll be reviewing for you Workality Plus a minimalist and efficient, responsive WordPress portfolio theme for creatives.

So allow me to grab your attention for the next 5 minutes and let’s jump right in. As soon as you land on the theme’s demo homepage you will immediately understand what makes this theme stand out from the crowd: the great usage of white space that accentuates the content’s impact which is exactly what it should do.

The default homepage layout is built around a strikingly beautiful slider, a 3 column portfolio items grid and a Clients Logo area just above the four sections footer. This is of course just the default suggestion and you can change the layout of your homepage any way you like using the integrated Visual Composer plugin in conjunction with the built-in slider manager or the integrated Slider Revolution plugin. You can also customize how work is displayed to your visitors in the portfolio area with multiple options going as far as setting your preferred item dimensions in pixels and number of columns.

Another great feature of the Workality Plus theme that will save countless hours of your time is the Theme Options panel found in the WP Admin interface under the Northeme tab. It’s so good and well organized that it made me hate some of the other Theme Options panels that I sometimes have to use and make my life miserable. It deserves a dedicated article and who knows maybe I’ll even write one in the future.

With the help of Custom Post Types here in the Theme Options menu you can create different portfolio looking sections and use them throughout your website’s pages. Speaking of pages, if you install the demo content (a process simplified by the accurate documentation) provided by the author you get premade pages for: Contact, About, Team, CV, Services, Clients, FAQ, Password Protected, 404 not found and many different blog post formats. You can extend this list to unlimited possibilities due to the recent integration with the easy to use page builder Visual Composer.

Another important theme feature that will please artists and craftsmen in search of a way to sell their work online, is the seamless integration with the popular WooCommerce plugin. It allows you to sell any kind of merchandise both digital and physical, securely and without too much hassle due to the free and premium support for most payment and shipping options.

Workality’s Plus responsive design works without hiccups on any mobile device and has an almost app like feel to it due to the smooth AJAX navigation. Every design element can be customized in the Theme Options panel like logos, fonts, paddings, borders, button colors and you can also choose from three predefined color skins: light, gray and dark.

You will also find some tasty SEO settings in the Theme Options menu but they tend to be on the very basic side so the author has kindly provided a Disable button which allows you to play with any other complex SEO plugin like Yoast and All in One SEO.

Social integration is subtle, respecting the theme’s minimalist and modern design but works flawlessly, fulfilling every artist’s desire of receiving recognition from their audience.

Documentation files are really well put together and cover everything you could possibly need to know. If you run into serious trouble you can always search for answers on their support forum or submit your own troubleshooting ticket.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a multirole theme that could suit any kind of website out there, then this is not the theme for you. If you need a well-designed, fast, easy to customize theme for a great portfolio website and you are into the less is more approach in terms of web layouts then Northeme’s Workality Plus this is definitely the right theme for you.
